Know-How & Technologies
We develop technical and scientific innovative equipments dedicated to R&D and diagnostic activities. These devices are effective essential tools for the use of new technical such as Microarray, Biosensors, Lab-on-a-Chip, microfluidic systems etc…

Our Know-How bear on the following expertise: maskless photolithography; molecular biology; chemical treatment of surfaces; wet etching; microfluidic systems; design and manufacture of products; micromechanical, optical, electronic…
Furthermore, our devices are fully automated and programmable which offer to our customers a wide range of applications according to their needs and results.

Our proprietary software are often updated. Thereby, our software evolve very often thanks to the customers feedback from several countries all around the world.

Our expertise extend also to the design and manufacture of custom ‘’Lab-on-a-Chip’’ dedicated to research and development. These microsystems are used to analysis, detection, diagnosis and screening for biology applications.

Microstructured Surfaces

We have a great expertise on production of microstructured surfaces on different substrats or materials. These chips are made thanks to different technologies such as:
- Maskless photolithography (Direct Writing by Laser)
- Wet etching
According to your patterns and needs, various manufacturing technology are used: photolithography step can be performed directly on the photoresist or different materials such as chrome (chrome-etchning).

Lab-on-a-chip

BioTray has a great expertise throughout the manufacturing process of lab-on-a-chip. In the manufacture of microstructured surfaces via surfaces chemical treatment until the integration of micro-components for fluids dispensing (connectors, valves, µmicropumps etc…) as well as piloting of these microcomponents (microfluidic controller) .

Surfaces Chemical Treatment

Mastering chemical modification of glass surfaces by organic molecules (organo-silanes), contributes to ensure reproducibility and reliability of microfluidic systems, which is essential for development of diagnostic tools.
